Julia
Pastrana & Her Son
The “mummies” ended up in Norway and continued to be
displayed throughout the 20th century.
They went through several ownerships, including private collectors
and medical institutions.
In 1973 (or 76?) Julia and child were taken on their last public tour
(with the Lund Tivoli traveling amusement park) before going into storage
in a warehouse in Norway.
At some point their bodies were vandalized. The infant was knocked
off of his pedestal and thrown into a ditch where rodents ate him.
