El Negro of Banyoles Prepared by French taxidermists, Edouard and Jules Verraux, circa 1830. Originally displayed in their shop in Paris. The Verraux brothers are probably best known for their display of the Arab Courier Attacked by Lions at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pennsylvania. All of the photos presented here of El Negro were taken at the Museo Darder.
