BRITISH MUSEUM (NATURAL HISTORY)" by K. Dennis-Bryan and J. Clutton-Brock. 1st
(and I believe, ONLY) paperback edition of this difficult to find
book, published by the British Museum (NH) in 1988.
In Very Good, clean condition! 86 color and B&W photos of taxidermy dogs from the British Museum's collection, mostly Victorian and Edwardian era, PLUS photos of pedigrees and a forward written by a then Chairman of Crufts, Sir Dudley Forwood. Many of the dog's registered names and championships are noted, which is interesting for those who research pedigrees back that far. Two famous racing greyhounds are pictured, Mick the Miller and Fullerton.
